Is Ilaiyaraaja composing music for Vaiko's Velu Nachiyar?

 

 

The life story of Velu Nachiyar, the first Tamil queen who fought British colonialism, is in works to be brought live on the silver screen. As we already reported, politician Vaiko's Kannagi Films is making a debut in the industry with this docu-drama, to be directed by debutant Sriram Sharma. 
Recent reports on this project reveal that a meeting between Vaiko and Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja took place and the latter is likely to be signed for composing music for this documentary. However, we wait an official confirmation on the same.
