Apart from producing a lot of hits in Tamil, Dhanush's first production in other language was Tharangam a Malayalam comedy thriller, which was also a huge success in the box office.

He has now ventured in Kannada with Rishi of Operation Alamelamma fame playing the lead role. The movie will be helmed by Islahuddin a debutant who has prior experience in ad-filmmaking. Jacob Varghese the eminent Kannada producer will be co-producing with Dhanush.

The Maari actor is also producing Vada Chennai, Kaala in Tamil and Maradona in Malayalam.
