Exclusive: Shankar's 2.0 will be the first at AR Rahman's new film studio

The final song in Shankar's magnum opus 2.0 will be shot from tomorrow, for a period of 4 days across 2 sets, with Superstar Rajini & Amy Jackson. One of these sets has been erected at AR Rahman's YM Studios in Sathyavedu. This is the first time that a film shoot is happening at this sprawling new facility built by the Oscar winning composer for film shooting purposes.

After the song, some minor patchwork remains and the complete shooting of 2.0 will be wrapped by Oct 21 or 22. The audio launch has been planned in Dubai on Oct 27, and there will also be a press meet in Dubai on Oct 26. Lyca Productions are spending crores and crores to make 2.0 a memorable movie event in Indian cinema history.
