Saamy 2 to be a summer 2018 release

The shoot of Saamy 2 (titled Saamy Square) was commenced a few days back in Chennai and Yercaud. The team will be shooting across Chennai and then move to New Delhi. They plan to release the film in the summer of 2018.

Produced by Shibu Thameens, Saamy 2 is said to have a very good script. Director Hari has worked on the pre-production for about 8 months and the producer is very happy with his work on the screenplay. There is also a hot rumor that Chiyaan Vikram plays dual roles in the film, which has Keerthy Suresh and Trisha as the heroines. Saamy 2 won't just follow the Saamy template and will be a grand outing, assures a source close to the team.
