Tovino Thomas to play Villain in Maari 2

After collaborating with Dhanush in two Malayalam films Tharangam and Maradona, actor Tovino Thomas is joining hands with the actor again in Tamil. Tovino Thomas will be portraying the antagonist role in Dhanush's upcoming sequel film Maari 2. The announcement was made by the director, Balaji Mohan on his social media page.

Interestingly, Maari 2 also has Vijay Yesudas playing an important role in it. The film is a sequel to 2015's gangster comedy Maari and will be produced by Dhanush's home banner Wunderbar Films.
