Rakul Preet Singh for 'Thalapathy 62'?

Rakul Preet Singh is making inroads to Tamil cinema, with Spyder and Theeran. She was supposed to debut with Thuppakki itself, back in 2012, but things didn't fall in place back then. She has also signed on for a film with Suriya next. But it isn't clear yet if that film will be directed by Selvaraghavan or Sudha Kongara, both of whom have committed to a film with the star. There are rumors that Suriya would first start the Sudha film and then move on to the Selvaraghavan film. This is what Rakul had to say regarding this, 

"It's very early stages but I believe the Selvaraghavan film is in the scripting stage now. I've signed on for a film with Suriya sir, that much is certain."

Rakul also refused to comment on rumors that she'll be pairing with Vijay in 'Thalapathy62', saying that all the people concerned have to free themselves from their current commitments before thinking about this.
