Deepika Padukone looks beautifully fierce in Padmavati first look

Earlier today, the first look of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film Padmavati was unveiled. The film posters featured lead actor Deepika Padukone in them and she looked the perfect blend of beautiful and fierce in them. The posters were released marking the auspicious beginning of the 9-day Navratiri celebration, and it has been announced that the film will be releasing on December 1, 2017. 

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie is a fictionalized account of the country's once most popular queen, Rani Padmini. Padukone essays the titular role in the film, while her co-stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor play Alauddin Khilji and Raja Rawal Ratan Singh respectively. Padmavati is joint production venture of Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
