Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru joins Mersal, Nenjil Thunivirundhaal in the Diwali race

Actor Karthi's upcoming film Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru has recently wrapped shooting and reportedly the makers are planning to release the film for Diwali this year. This decision seems to have been taken in light of the budget invested in the film and to make optimum use of the 5 day holiday weekend (October 18, 2017 - October 22, 2017). The film will meet Vijay's Mersal and director Suseenthiran's Nenjil Thunivirundhaal at the box-office who have already announced their release at the same time. 

This will be the second time Karthi and Vijay will be meeting at the box-office as their earlier films Siruthai and Kaavalan had released around the same time bavk in 2011. However, this time around, they might have more competition as films like Hara Hara Mahadevaki(Gautham Karthik), Sollividava (Arjun) and Gulebakavali (Prabhu deva) are also said to eye the same slot for release.
