Mithun Kumar - Ilayaraja's Kalathur Gramam to release soon

Music Maestro Ilayaraja's 1001st film Kalathur Gramam is all set to hit theatre screens soon. The film will see actor Mithun Kumar, son of producer SA Rajakannu making his debut with this Tamil -Telugu bi-lingual. SA Rajakannu's banner Shree Amman Creations is known for producing movies like 16 Vayathinile, Kizhake Pogum Rail and Mahanadhi. Interestingly Airawath Entertainments, Mithun's home banner, has produced Kalathur Gramam with AR Movie Paradise Pvt Limited.

Written and directed by director Saran. K. Advaithan, the film features Aadukalam fame Kishore Jayaram, Ajay Rathnam, Kannada actress Yagna Shetty and former TV anchor Rajini Mahadevaiah and is a period film about an era of dispute between a father and son. The film's technical team includes Pushparaj Santhosh for cinematography and Suresh for the edits.
