MovieCrow Exclusive - Ajith's next movie start on Nagi Reddy 100th birthday

It is well known that Ajith's next movie will be produced by Vijaya Vauhini Studios and directed by 'Siruthai' Siva. It has come as a surprise that Ajith will start shooting in December while his untitled movie with Vishnuvaradhan is still in progress. After talking to insiders, we got the real reason for parallel tracking of his next 2 projects.

What is special about December 2nd?

Vijaya Vauhini's producer wanted to begin the movie on its founder Nagi Reddy's 100th year birthday. Legendary Nagi Reddy, who was born on December 2, 1912, started the studio back in 1948 immediately after India's Independence. Vijaya Vauhini had produced some path-breaking hits such as Missiama, Mayabazaar, MGR's Enga Veetu Pillai just to name a few. For sentimental reasons, Production house which has been dormant during the last decade is planning to get back into production business with Ajith's project on this important date.

Song Composition and shooting schedule in December

Siruthai Siva will start the movie with a Pooja and a song recording with Devi Sri Prasad on December 2. The first shooting schedule expected to begin in December as well. After a short break, the movie will resume back again after March 2013 once Vishnu wraps up the shoot with Ajith.
