Ritu Varma to replace Anu Emmanuel in Dhruva Natchathiram

Actress Anu Emmanuel who was so far a part of Gautham Vasudev Menon's upcoming directorial Dhruva Natchathiram has reportedly opted out of the movie. The reason being cited is date issues, as she was unable to allot simultaneous dates with the lead actor Vikram. It is also being said that Telugu actress Ritu Varma has stepped in the place of Emmanuel. Apparently, the director was impressed with her performance in Pelli Choopulu (for which he holds the re-make rights) and had already considered casting her. Only now, the casting seems to have materialised for Dhruva Natchathiram. A production venture of Menon's Ondraga Entertainment and Madan's Escape Artists Motion Pictures, Dhruva Natchathiram has Harris Jayaraj for the music and has been shooting as planned otherwise.
