Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai With Karthi To Be Shot In Ladakh

Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam is currently tented at Ladakh where he is scouting for locations for his upcoming movie Kaatru Veliyidai. He along with action director Sham Kaushal, whom he had worked with in Raavan before are yet to finalize on a spot. The director will reportedly shoot a realistic action sequence here. 

A romantic-drama, Kaatru Veliyidai features Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles and the duo will be seen in Kashmir by early October for shooting their next schedule. Interestingly both these locations have played backdrops to Mani Ratnam's movies (Kashmir for Roja and Ladakh for Dil Se). The movie which also stars RJ Balaji, Shraddha Srinath, Delhi Ganesh has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Ravi Varma.
