Priyadharshan's Sila Samayangalil Enters Golden Globe

 

Sila Samayangalil, a social drama which deals with AIDS awareness follows the anticipation of three people (portrayed by Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy and Ashok Selvan) in a pathology lab. It is no mean feat dealing with such a hard-hitting genre in itself and it only comes as rewarding for director Priyadharshan, to know that the movie made it to the final round of selection, for the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards. It is to be noted that Sila Samayangalil is the only one from India which made the cut, alongside nine other shortlists. 

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) will screen the film for a global premiere on October 6, 2016 at Los Angeles, California. This will be followed by a selection of five movies which will enter the Golden Globes. The movie which is a joint venture of Think Big Studios and Prabhu Deva Studioz is surely gaining laurels worldwide.
