Director Rajkumar Hirani, who has given Bollywood's most successful films like Munna Bhai films, 3 Idiots (2009), PK (2014) and Sanju (2018) is all set to return with a new film starring Shah Rukh Khan (SRK). This is a first collaboration between SRK and Hirani and their movie titled Dunki was officially announced today.

Dunki has been promised to have comedy, emotions, romance albeit without SRK's iconic arms expanding pose. The movie is jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Rajkumar Hirani Films and Jio Studios and is scheduled to release in theaters on December 22, 2023.

Actress Taapsee Pannu is said to be playing female lead in Dunki.
