Back in 2019, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar famously sat down with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a tete-a-tete and started the conversation by asking whether the PM eats mangoes, how he likes to eat them and which part of the mango the PM likes. To be fair to Akshay, the actor did set the question by stating that it was from his driver's small kid but the overall tone of the interview was so unsatisfactory to the Indian population, that they turned this particular question into troll material.

In one of Akshay Kumar's recent appearances on The Kapil Sharma Show, which is produced by Salman Khan and airs on Sony TV, comedy host Kapil Sharma rehashed this incident by asking Akshay about an interview he did with a ‘famous personality’. Akshay took the joke head-on and challenged Kapil to openly name the personality, while the comedian tried to change the topic. This was all in good humour.
However behind-the-scenes, Akshay had apparently asked the show-runners to not air this clip and it was in reference to the Prime Minister. But when the clip was included in the internet versions of the episode, Akshay who regularly promotes his movies on The Kapil Sharma Show, sought a clarification..

Kapil Sharma took to twitter today to tweet that he has personally sorted this issue over a phone call with Akshay and the actor can be expected to promote his new movie Bachchhan Paandey on the show.
