Fahadh Faasil plays the lead role in Malik directed by Mahesh Narayanan of 'Take Off' fame. The makers have unveiled a new poster from the film featuring Fahadh as a middle-aged politician, who is engrossed in deep thoughts. Touted to be a social thriller Nimisha Sajayan plays the leading lady. Fahadh Faasil will be seen sporting four different looks for the film, for which he has shed close to 10 kilos of weight and is seen sporting a completely different look. 

Malik is based on a true story and that it covers different time periods starting from the 1960s. The film bankrolled by Anto Joseph is made on a huge budget of Rs 25 crore. The technical crew of Malik includes Sanu John Varghese for cinematography and Sushin Shyam for music. The film also stars Dileesh Pothan, Vinay Forrt, Indrans, Sudhi Koppa, Chandhunath, and Jalaja as the supporting cast.
