Ravi Teja, whose couple of previous outings ‘Amar Akbar Antony’ and ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’ didn’t perform well will now team up with his favourite filmmaker Gopichand Malineni for a remake project. The industry sources mention that the film tentatively titled ‘RT 66’ will be a remake of super hit Tamil movie ‘Theri ‘ that starred Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in lead roles. It is noteworthy that it was Ravi Teja who gave an opportunity for Gopichand to make his directorial debut through his movie.

As both of them are in desperate need of a hit now, they are pinning all hopes on this film. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja has almost completed shooting for his next movie titled ‘Disco Raja’. Touted to be a Sci-Fi Thriller, the film will be hitting screens on December 20, 2019 for the festive occasion of Christmas.
