Mission Mangal Day 11 Box Office: Akshay Kumar's film beats Kesari to become the fourth highest grossing Hindi film of 2019

Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal which hit the screens on August 15 is continuing its dream run at the Box Office in its second week. The film has earned Rs. 164.61 cr in 11 days. It has cruised past Rs. 150 cr mark on its eleventh day. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office numbers of the film on his social media page and wrote:

 

#MissionMangal is displaying strong legs at the BO... Continues to surprise with solid trending on [second] Sat and Sun... No action / commercial trappings, yet the numbers are truly outstanding... [Week 2] Fri 7.83 cr, Sat 13.32 cr, Sun 15.30 cr. Total: ₹ 164.61 cr. India biz"

 

Mission Mangal crossed Rs. 50 cr mark on Day 3, Rs. 100 cr mark on Day 5 and Rs. 150 cr mark on Day 11. The film's performance got a boost because of the Janmashtami holiday and due to the absence of any major new releases during the weekend. Surpassing the lifetime collection of Kesari (Rs 154.41 cr) and Total Dhamaal (Rs 154.23 cr) Mission Mangal has now emerged as the fourth highest grossing Hindi film of 2019.

With the much-awaited Saaho releasing on August 30, we need to see if Mission Mangal's would be able to continue its steady pace and emerge as Akshay Kumar's highest grossing Hindi film beating 2.0 which had collected Rs. 189.55 cr in its lifetime run.
