Almost a year after the first look poster of his film with director Srinath Rajendran was unveiled by actor Dulquer Salmaan, the movie recently had a title poster release. On Dulquer's birthday which fell on the 28th of July, the director of this film unveiled a poster as 'a small birthday gift' and revealed the title to be Kurup.
Kurup will see Dulquer playing the real-life character of Sukumara Kurup, a murderer from Kerala who has been MIA since 1984. Sukumara Kurup allegedly burnt a man called Chacko to death 33 years ago, while attempting to faking his own death for insurance money. The story of the movie is written by Jithin K Jose, while the script written by Daniell Sayooj Nair and KS Aravind.
