The official teaser of actress Savithri's biopic Mahanati (Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil), has been unveiled. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the bilingual film has Keerthy Suresh playing the late actress and also starrs Dulquer Salmaan (as Gemini Ganesan), Naga Chiatanya (as Nageshwar Rao), Shalini Pandey (as Savithri's friend Jamuna) with Samantha Akkinenni as Madhuravani a reporter, the narrator of the film and Vijay Deverakonda as her love-interest.
Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies banner, Mahanati / Nadigaiyar Thilagam hits theatre screens on May 9, 2018 and has Mickey J Meyer for music and Dani Sanchez-Lopz for cinematography.
