Nara Rohit's new movie "Shabdam", which will be his 18th film, was launched officially on the eve of Ugadi festival in Andhra Pradesh's new capital city Amaravathi. Nara Rohit plays a mute protagonist in this film. The title poster carries the tagline "Silence is his weapon"

 Nara Rohit is known for choosing content based films irrespective of the commercial success.  He always likes to experiment with his roles.  Nara Rohit will be essaying the role of dumb guy in this action drama directed by PB Manjunath. Narayana Rao Atluri is bankrolling the project. Vikas Kurumella is the music director.  Richard Prasad is handling cinematography.  Story-dialogues penned by Vamsi Rajesh.
