Sooraj Barjatya's son to direct Salman Khan?

Sooraj Barjatya’s son Avnish is rather interested going behind the scenes. News is that the younger son of the Barjatyas is all set to make his Bollywood debut but as a director.

Pune Mirror quotes a source, “While his older son, Devaansh, is into production, Avnish was one of the assistant directors on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Sooraj now plans to launch him as director in his next production. The details are still being worked out but the filmmaker has sounded out close friends and there is a possibility that Salman Khan, Sooraj’s close friend and the leading man of most of his films, may be part of this project. The cast is yet to be finalised.”

The source continues, “Sooraj has also been planning a film with Salman that he will direct but that project may take a while”.

It seems the Barjatyas are currently preoccupied with their TV production, ‘Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan’. Once the show establishes itself, work on the film that Avnish will direct will begin.
