Irrfan – Piku, Talvar
You just can’t get enough of Irrfan. It’s a pity when 10 years ago, no one knew what he’s capable of and today, he’s among those top actors that promise their audience a fine display of acting. Even this year, his effortless portrayal of Rana in Piku and that of an investigating officer in Talvar spell bounded us.

After a series of flop films and very average performances, Ranbir Kapoor delivered a breathtaking performance with Tamasha. He made the most of the character given to him and entertained the audience throughout.

Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaocar in Drishyam is outstanding! Why do movies like Action Jackson, when you have the ability to do so much better? In Drishyam, he proves his worth again with a very genuine performance as middle class man ready to do anything to keep his family happy and protected!
Akshay Kumar –Baby
There’s something with regard to Akshay, as whenever he delivers a fine performance, he goes unnoticed, maybe because of the other 3 average performances that he delivers in the same year overshadow his best one. Same is the case with his very engaging performance as a counter-terror intelligence officer in Baby which surely makes it the top ten for us.
Varun Dhawan - Badlapur
Varun Dhawan is constantly experimenting and his performance in Badlapur will surely be a milestone in his career. He plays the innocent husband and father very convincingly but his older version has a few glitches. But apart from that, his efforts are worthy of a huge positive reception.
Salman Khan - Bajrangi Bhaijaan
Kudos to Salman Khan for experimenting with a new and a different role as sweet and simple Bajrangi who goes out of his way to help people. It was amazing to watch Bhai in character role and he too gave fine performance without dominating the other actors.
