What’s It About? (Plot)

After the attacks of 26/11 and other constant terror attacks, Indian people are feeling vulnerable and angry. Therefore, the head of India’s security agency and his team decides to put an end to this and kill the terrorists at their very home. To do this job, special agent Daniyal (Saif) is hired and is helped by Nawaz Mistry (Katrina) who works for an American security agency. Daniyal and Nawaz against all odds try and finish the job they had set out to do. Along the way they find out that in a mission like this there is always a price to pay, in this case a very personal price.

Who’s The Star? (Cast)

Saif Ali Khan:

Phantom might just be the one film Saif is waiting for! Humshakals, Happy Ending, Agent Vinod, Bullet Raja are some of his last few films and they have been disastrous and best forgotten. He is generally suited to thrillers and let’s see how well an impact he makes with it.

Katrina Kaif:

Katrina on the other hand is struggling too with her choice of movies as though he is big on collection but her stardom is slowly dying.

Who Are The People Behind? (Crew)

The film is directed byKabir Khan who’s riding high with the success of BajrangiBhaijaan. Though it seems that terrorism is his favourite topic as he’s already made two films on it (New York and EkTha Tiger) and has been more or less successful with both. The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Will I Get To Groove? (Music)

If gunshots and bombings are the rhythm you like, then surely. Apart from that there’s Afghan Jalebi which is an item song that one can dance to. Nachde and Saware are very decent songs and each of them grows on you with time. Pritam’s soundtrack is short but engaging.

What’s New? What’s Different?

However, the film has a lot of action, like blowing up of entire buildings, running from pillar to post and a whole lot of bombings! So if you are looking in that regard, it might be a good watch for you.
