SK 23 (working title) is a project that marks the first time collaboration between popular Tamil director AR Murugadoss and star Sivakarthikeyan. The movie was officially announced back in September, 2023 and as previously reported, began with an official pooja ceremony on Valentine's day.

Director AR Murugadoss has now shared SK 23 pooja stills which officially confirms the SK 23 cast and crew. SK 23 has also been confirmed to be an 'action adventure' as previously reported.

SK 23 will be the eighth film where Anirudh composes music for a Sivakarthikeyan lead movie. Besides the 7 previous films - Ethir Neechal (2013), Maan Karate (2014), Kaaki Sattai (2015), Remo (2016), Velaikkaran (2017), Doctor (2012) and Don (2022), Anirudh has given several hit singles in Sivakarthikeyan movies through playback singing.
