The first look poster of Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu is out. The trailer of the film will be launched tomorrow. Shradhha Kapoor and actress Yami Gautham play the leading ladies. Shahid Kapoor shared the film's poster on his Twitter page.

Touted to be a film on  electricity shortage and the inaccuracies of electricity bills, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is directed by Shree Narayan Singh of 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' fame and is a joint production venture of  Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti. The film is set to hit the screens on September 21, 2018.
