After China, Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium to release in Taiwan

Irrfan Khan, Saba Qamar starrer Hindi Medium which was one of 2017's thought-provoking comical hits is all set to have a theatrical release in Taiwan. This will be the second international release for the film, as it has already been scheduled to hit theatre screens in China on April 4, 2018. The official statement from Zee Studios International, the overseas presenter of the film read :

"China's theatrical market is huge and growing rapidly. Seeing that Hindi Medium has performed well in each and every major international territory is a testament to its potential in China and Taiwan as well. They appreciate good content."

Written by Zeenat Lakhani and Saketh Chaudhary and directed by the latter, Hindi Medium is a satirical take on the importance given to to social image and the education system of our country. A sequel to the film with the same Irrfan Khan and Homi Adajania for direction is already in talks. The film was originally produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films.
