Actor Shahid Kapoor who has finally entered the 100-crore club with his latest release Padmaavat, has already begun prepping for his next film. Shahid was spotted with his Haider co-star Shradhha Kapoor with whom he will be seen sharing screen space in Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Touted to be a film on electricity shortage and the inaccuracies of electricity bills, Batti Gul Meter Chalu will be directed by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fame.
The film is expected to begin shooting in February, 2018 and will reportedly be shot in a start-to-finish schedule at Haridwar, Rishikesh, Tehri, Mussoorie and Nainital. Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor will also be seen shooting for Saaho down South, where she will be seen sharing screen space with Baahubali actor Prabhas
