The release date for Mohanlal’s much anticipated action thriller Villain was earlier expected to be September 28, 2017. However, recent developments confirm that the film will now hit theatre screens on October 27, 2017. 

The multi starrer crime thriller has Tamil actor Vishal as the antagonist, with Hansika filling in for the female lead. Directed by Unnikrishnan, the movie also starrs Manju warrier, Raashi Khanna, Meka Srikanth, Aju Varghese and Cheman Vinod. The film is also expected to be dubbed and released in Tamil and Telugu.
