National award winning director Hansal Mehta is ready to strike his best again with Kangan Ranaut starrer 'Simran'.  In the film, Kangana plays the role of a Gujarati NRI. The movie has been censored with 'U/A' certificate. The runtime of the movie is 2 hours 4 minutes.

While Kangana is busy watching Gujarati plays to get the nuances of her character right in the film. Kangana plays the role of a girl called Praful Patel, a housekeeper, who gets embroiled in a crime. The movie is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh. The film is slated to release on September 15, 2017.
