Shruti Hasan, Rajkummar Rao's 'Behen Hogi Teri' team to host special screening for Kamal Haasan

Behen Hogi Teri starring Rajkummar Rao and Shruthi Hassan in the lead roles and the promotions are on full swing. The makers of the film are planning to host a special screening for Shruti Haasan’s father Kamal Haasan in Chennai.

According to Bollywood Hungama Reports, Amul Mohan, one of the producers of the film, confirms the news. “It will be an honour for us to showcase our film to Mr Kamal Haasan. He is one of the greatest actors in the country. We want to host a screening for him; we are still figuring out his schedule and working on his dates. We will screen the movie in Chennai,” he says.

Set in Lucknow, Amul touts this film to be Shruti’s finest work so far. He says, “It’s a very different film because she has done a lot of rom-coms but she has never attempted this genre in Hindi. She brings a different take to the story.”

The film is a romantic comedy featuring two young lovers who happen to be neighbours. Their love story hits a bump when a new man enters the girl’s life. Directed by Ajay Pannalal, the film is scheduled to release on June 9.
