Noor Opening Weekend BoxOffice Collection

Sonakshi Sinha’s most anticipated film of the year ‘Noor’ has hit the theatres on April 21. The film got mixed to negative reviews from the critics and below average response from the audience. The film has minted Rs. 1.54  crore in its opening weekend. It has minted around Rs. 5.52 crore in 3 days.

Collection Breakup

Friday - Rs. 1.54 cr

Saturday - Rs. 1.89 cr

Sunday- Rs. 2.09 cr

Total - Rs. 5.52 cr

There was only 10 percent occupancy in the theaters on the opening day. Sonakshi Sinha starrer film was released over 900 screens in India on April 21, Friday.

The film seems failed to attract the audience towards the theaters while Sonakshi’s last female lead film Akira has done the decent box office business but Noor failed to beat the box office collection of Akira.

Directed by Sunhil Sippy, Sonakshi Sinha plays the titular character, Noor, a Mumbai-based broadcast journalist who wants to do 'issue-based serious journalism' like her idol 'Barkha'. The film explores her troubled love life, her day-to-day experiences and her career in journalism.

Sonakshi starrer film is giving a good competition of another female lead film ‘Maatr’ starring Raveena Tandon which was released opposite Noor, the films are clashing at the box office. Both the film got the slow opening and looking forward to doing better at the box office. Raveena Tandon starrer 'Maatr' mints 1.68 cr on its opening weekend boxoffice collection. We hope Sonakshi Sinha’s film will perform better at the box office in the upcoming days.
