Kabali completes 50 days 

Rajinikanth's Kabali, a popular and well-received film is stepping into the 50th day of screening today. The movie which was released on July 22, 2016 made Radhika Apte (female lead) a house-hold name in the south, post its release. Despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics and the masses alike, the movie has been declared to be a blockbuster with the highest opening weekend for any Indian movie worldwide. Trade analysts estimate the film's worldwide gross total at around ₹350 crore.

Kabali, also starring Dhansika, Nassar and Winston Chao is written and directed by Pa. Ranjith and music by Santosh Narayanan. The movie is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu.
