After Drishyam, one expected a very tout thriller from director NishikantKamat when he took up to remake the very acclaimed Korean film ‘The Man From Nowhere’ but things didn’t go that way. The movie is a big letdown when it comes to storyline and storytelling.

The story is about a about a mysterious man known as 'Handsome' who lives in crime and corruption plagued Goa and decides to save an 8-year old girl from a drug mafia. For this he has to encounter the police and his dreaded past along with the mafia. Will he able to save the little girl and get back his redemption is the question answered in the rest of the film.

This film does keep potential to be a much better film than it is. It lacks majorly because of the plot holes, not so good writing and needless effort to bring in humor. Apart from the kick-ass action scenes, the film displays a show of ordinary execution. Even the music of the film doesn’t impress much.

Talking about the performances, John Abraham has done a fine job as the silent killer Rocky. He has his looks and stunts going for him and keeps the audience entertained. The little girl Diya Chalwad is a find and it was a delight to watch her. NishikantKamat as the drug mafia put up a decent show as well.

In all, if you are a fan of action movies and a weak story is acceptable to you, then you could this movie a try this weekend.
