Riding on its charm of a simple and innocent love story of 'soulmates', Divya Khosla Kumar's 'Sanam Re' has notched up collections of Rs 17 crore at the box office in the country in its opening weekend.

Collection Breakup

Friday – Rs 5.04 cr                                 

Saturday - Rs.5.56 cr

Sunday - Rs. 6.45 cr

Total - Rs. 17.05 cr

Sanam Re featuring Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam in the lead roles and is directed by Divya Khosla Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor.The film also stars Rishi Kapoor.

 

Fitoor

Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif featuring Fitoor received poor reviews from the audience as well as critics. The movie has failed to work at the box office. Though the trailer and the songs received wide applause before the release, the movie could not open with decent collections. The film has minted Rs. 14.11 cr in its opening week.

Fitoor is an adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic, 'Fitoor' is a love story set in Kashmir. In ‘Fitoor’ Aditya Roy Kapur will enact the male lead Noor while Katrina Kaif plays Firdaus. The movie also stars Tabu, Aditi Rao Hydari, Lara Dutta and Rahul Bhatt.
