PUBLISHED DATE | 16/Jun/2023

Prabhas starrer Hindi-Telugu bilingual Adipurush released in theaters worldwide today, and just like the actor's Baahubali movies, Adipurush has been getting a PAN-Indian attention from movie enthusiasts. Team Adipurush as a part of its marketing strategy had announced that all screenings of their Ramayana-based movie will have one ticket unsold/one seat in theaters empty. They said that they were leaving this seat open for Lord Hanuman, since it is a believed in Hindu traditions that the monkey God known for this devotion to Lord Ram, appears whenever the Ramyana is recited.

In one of the early screenings of Adipurush this morning, audience in a single screen theater were able to capture on camera the visual of an actual monkey catching a glimpse of the movie. The theater audience can also be heard hooting and whistling for the monkey, and almost chanting 'Jai Shree Ram'. The monkey, part confused at the commotion and part-enthusiatic about what he/she was watching on-screen then backed into to the opening it was protruding its face from.
