In a move to aid the battle against COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, actor Ajith has donated huge amounts to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund, the PM Cares fund and the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI), which is supporting the relief of daily wage workers from the Tamil movie industry.

It has been officially confirmed that the 'Thala' actor has donated the following amounts to the respective relief funds, totalling his donation amount to Rs. 1.25 Crore: 

• PM Cares Fund: Rs 50 lakhs
• CM Relief Fund: Rs 50 lakhs
• FEFSI: Rs 25 lakhs
