Karan Johar shares Indian Film Festival of Melbourne's heart-warming video on World Down Syndrome Day!

The one common factor Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) and World Down Syndrome Day share are that they were both founded in 2012 and 7 years down the line the Australia based film festival is seen observing the yearly March 21 day with a heart-warming video.

20 Fathers with down syndrome daughters feature in this video enjoying the Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam track from Shahrukh Khan starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayengae and the same was shared by Bollywood director, producer Karan Johar on his twitter page:

Titled Ode to Love,  IFFM decribes the video as an invitation to celebrate love with fathers and their daughters from India and Australia and 1 extra chromosome.

The current tender provider of the film festival, Mind Blowing Films (run by Mitu Bhowmick Lange) has produced the video and has introduced hashtags such as #Homiewithanextrachromie, #Humanneedsnotspecialneeds, #UpSyndrome and #Wouldntchangeathing in support of people with a third copy of chromosome 21.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is due to take place this year between August 9 to August 17, 2019 and it celebrates films of all languages from our country. Last year actors Keerthy Suresh and Dhanush were a part of this prestigious film festival from the South.
