Actor Jiiva to make Bollywood debut with a Ranveer Singh film!

Actor Jiiva who is currently a part of Gypsy and an untitled project with Arulnithi has confirmed that he will be making his Bollywood debut with the Ranveer Singh starrer 83. The movie which is a Kabir Khan directorial will see Jiiva play cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth, while Ranveer Singh will be seen playing Kapil Dev, who lead the Indian Cricket team to the world cup victory in 1983. 


Jiiva will begin shooting for this film from May, 2019 and is currently undergoing cricket training at Chennai as is Ranveer at Mumbai.
Reliance Entertainment and Vibri Media are jointly producing 83 at a staggering budget of Rs. 100 Crore and the team will be seen shooting in London for about 100 days. The movie is expected to be released by 2020 .
