Bala's Naachiyaar and the superhero film Black Panther kept the Chennai city Box Office running this past weekend. Kalakalappu2 continued to do well, along with blockbuster Padmaavat. 

This coming Friday will have many small films which will mostly go below the radar. We also have to see how the planned strike pans out.
