“New attempt in Tamil cinema.”

The first half is laced up with humor, suspense and works pretty well, the negative point is that the second half which lost its momentum here and there, some dialogues in the second half is found to be artificial . But Mysskin compensated everything with a good climax, which is very much important for a super hero flick. ...

“It's worth a watch”

Mysskin's approach to Mugamoodi is realistic, like before, and he has not tried to add unnecessary commercial elements. Jeeva wins the show through his astounding performance. ...

“Go on watch the movie now!”

The music by K is pleasing, but it is the background score that takes the cake. Mysskin has given us an interesting story. He has presented the story of the masked crusader in his style. The other technical aspects of the movie add a lot of style to the movie. ...

“Pacy first half, slow second half but compensated by the overall performance and effort of the cast & crew.”

As usual Jiiva scores well and his dancing skills are really a treat to watch in the Bar Anthem number.Technically Mugamoodi is superior. Ks BGM is as rocker and his scores in the action sequences are outstanding. Cinematographer Sathya brings out Mysskins vision on the wide canvas with his lighting and night effect shots. ...

“Average”

Mysskin starts off promisingly but as the film progresses it loses its fizz. It fails to deliver the thrills of watching a superhero film. Adhering to the unwritten superhero rule, Mugamoodi too is born out of tragedy. On the whole, Mugamoodi is a one-time watch for Mysskin and Jiivas attempt to do something different. Wish it had a more solid and powerful script. ...

“Mugamoodi fails to impress”

Mysskin's love of dramatic moments is well-known, but here, he goes overboard and sacrifices logic and commonsense to startling moments that rarely gel with the screenplay. Several times the hero, heroine and villain strike poses and spout dialogues that make you want to laugh. In the second half, as the villain (Narain) strutted in wearing coats, gloves and mask, the theatre erupted in giggles. This superhero might have the best of intentions, but Mysskin's screenplay fails him spectacularly. ...

“Task With A Mask ”

Mugamoodi is Mysskin's offering in a different plate. He has opted to go out consciously from his style of filmmaking. The formula is the same, execution makes all the difference. For those who love action films from the West and the East, Mugamoodi combines both to give some pleasure. ...

“Grim and sometimes raw with underlying tones of melody”

The music album boasts 11 tracks. Out of which, there are 3 full-fledged songs and remaining are theme music. Unlike previous Mysskin's album which has a mandatory kutthu, all songs in Mugamoodi can be classified as melody. ... » more

“A good platform for the superhero to soar”

K's themes really lift the album and make us look forward to the movie's BGM score. Among the songs, Aalaap Raju's number takes the cake. ... » more
