VEDI definitely has good elements– actions sequences, songs, humor, decent performances - and each of us can pick what we want and ignore the rest. It belongs to a fourth category of cracker called Bijili Vedi ( Electric Crackers) – which can be burst one by one – it’s a sheer joy when one bursts and no loss when another one doesn’t. (more)

Vedi is a regular mass movie but has a perfect mix of action, thrill and emotions to keep the audience entertaining throughout.
Audience will experience like walking on a familiar terrain. Nonetheless, the movie has all the elements of a mass film. Go for it, as it is a paisa vasool entertainer. (more)

We've seen it all before, maybe a hundred times right from 80’s. The premise is as old as the hills, plot is old-fashioned and the cardboard villains are so predictable and their intentions so clichéd.(more)

Sameera stands out in Vedi
None of Prabhudeva's signature touches are visible in the film. In fact, the movie looks like a mass-product that could have been turned out by any random commercial director. Vedi is just another run-of-the-mill entertainer. (more)
