Looks can be Deceptive at Times

Goutham Nanda is no doubt a spin on the classic "The Prince and the Pauper" tale, but it is given a fresh new treatment and with a twist that definitely works. Not the best of Gopichand but he does manage to impress and thus it makes for a time pass outing at the cinemas this weekend.(more)

Gautam Rich "Nandi" poor

Producers tried to spend more and give Gopichand a comeback hit. Director Sampath Nandi could not manage dual roles with the very weak storyline. If you wish to just pass the time and if you can bear with the dragged scenes and routine comedy, you may try once for Gopichand's acting skills.(more)

Although the story line works, the film doesn't outgrow the cliches it is impregnated with. The pace slackens in the second half. Gopichand's performance, dialogues, and technical departments are good.

The film fast slides into unending cliches in the second half (until the anti-climax moment). The formula starts getting on your nerves.
