This film would perfectly connect more to the people, who have been following Adhi since his Club Le Mubbu Le days than those who started to follow him only after his feature debut. Adhi has also used his signature music album numbers which give you the nostalgic feel.(more)

Meesaya Murukku Movie Review

Aadi, has put up a decent performance, and as a director, he has ensured that the film has ample moments for youngsters to cheer. Vivekh, as a loving dad, is apt in his role and has scored in many scenes. Vijayalakshmi, as the protagonist�s mother, and Aathmika are OK in their roles, while it is the characters in the college which are engaging enough to make the audience sit and watch throughout. Vigneshkanth and the other characters who appear now and then are hilarious and are apt in supporting roles. A little more command over storytelling in the first half could have made this a superb campus entertainer.(more)

Sound engineering

For a film that has music as an integral part, the tunes are catchy � Aadhi cleverly re-uses some of his popular previous independent tracks, like 'Vaadi Pulla' and 'Club Le Mabbu Le'. I liked his casting of Vivek as the father; he aces it, with a firm grip on character. That a comedian clicks in a serious role is proof that Meesaya Murukku has got a few things right.(more)
