A passable entertainer that is quite some fun

Bogan offers some decent fun. While it had more scope, it is not a film that you have much to complain about.(more)

Bogan could have seduced more with a sharper screenplay!

Both Arvind Swami and Jayam Ravi have given rocked the floor with their towering screen presence. Hansika, on the other hand, looks bubbly and adds to the glamour quotient. Soundarajan's hard work in the cinematography department can be noted. D Imman's background music thrusts the movie upwards. But apart from Damaal Dumeel track no other ones leaves an impact. Antony's editing also deserves praises with sleek cuts in the fast-paced sequences of the movie. However, one might get the feeling that the film could have been trimmed a little more. The love portions in the film could also have been controlled to make it a better arrangement altogether.(more)

Jayam Ravi is the star, but Arvind Swami is the hero

Pardoning a few cliched scenes and the abrupt climax, Bogan may not be a great film, but a well-executed thriller that does manage to treat you with a tight screenplay.(more)

Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swami revive the magic

Bogan is a fitting duel between two varying personalities; one a straightforward smart cop and the other a badass crook who uses mystic forces to live a king size life. Rides high on Arvind Swami and Jayam Ravis performances.(more)
