Go for it if you can endure two hours of pain for a few laughs in between
Director Prasanth Pandiraj puts up a card at the beginning of the film that he is inspired by every film ever made (a la Quentin Tarantino). It's hard to believe that after watching 'Bruce Lee'. The screenplay grounds to a halt in the first fifteen minutes and refuses to budge after that till the very end. Though a few ideas are good and some adult comedy also works, it is not enough to lift the film killed by bad writing and direction.(more)

Bruce Lee Movie Review
The film starts with the popular quote of Quentin Tarantino "I steal from every single movie ever made", which is followed by "I get inspired from every single movie ever made", this one by Prasanth Pandiaraj. Let's just hope no one gets inspired by this film and makes movies titled Jackie Chan, Tiger Chen or Tony Jaa.(more)

This GV Prakash film will make the action legend turn in his grave
Some of Kollywood's well known comedians like Motta Rajendran, Anandraj and others mimic well known actors. The regular Thala (Ajith) and Thalapathy (Vijay) references are also there. There is a disclaimer from the director appearing in the title cards with a quote from Quentin Tarantino � �I steal from every single movie ever made." And the director adds - "I get inspired from every single movie ever made." To put it mildly, we wish GV Prakash, a sensible star, would chose his scripts with a little more care in the future(more)

A zero's journey
he director evokes Tarantino, The Godfather, Dark Knight and a dozen Tamil films. Every joke is a reference and every situation, a spoof. But knowing cinema alone doesn't help. In the words of Bruce Lee himself, "Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do."(more)
