Vedalam starring Ajith, Shruthi Haasan and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles is directed by Siruthai fame Siva. The audio of the film will be launched on October 16. The movie is targeted for Diwali release. Shruti Haasan plays a lawyer in the film and Ajith will be seen playing a role of taxi driver in the movie. Soori has been roped in to provide the comic relief. Music is by Anirudh. The movie is produced by AM Ratnam's Sri Sai Ram Creations.
