Vedalam rights sold

Vedalam, popularly referred to as Thala 56, is an upcoming movie of actor Ajith with director Siva. The movie is in final stage of shoot and the makers are planning to have a bigger release on Diwali. Meanwhile, The business for the movie has become red hot in the trade even before the completion of the film. The movies rights has been sold in many key areas. 

Overseas: MM Media who bought the USA distribution rights of some popular movies like Arrambam, Kaththi has bagged the distribution rights of Vedalam in USA. Ayngaran International has bought the distriubtion rights of movie in other countries like UK & France. 

India: Reportedly, Sushma Cine Arts has bagged some key area rights in Tamil Nadu. The Karnataka rights of the movie is bought by Gokulraj of Sri Gokul Films for a whooping price. K.G Nair of Shenoy films has bought the distriubtion rights of Kerala. Shenoy films has distributed Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal earlier in Kerala.

Anirudh is scoring the music for the film. The movie is produced by AM Ratnam's Sri Sai Ram Creations.
