Kanchana 2 directed by Ragavendra Lawrence hit the screens on April 17. The third installment of the ‘Muni’ series has turned out to be a blockbuster. The movie continues to mint money across Tamil Nadu and other states, irrespective of other big releases.

According to Trade Analyst Sreedhar Pillai, at the end of 2 weeks the movie has grossed  Rs. 51.5 crores from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The trade expert says that movie had fetched a producer share alone of Rs. 27 crore approximately. Considering the budget, the movie is termed to be a biggest blockbuster of this year.

Kanchana 2, directed by Raghava Lawrence, is the third sequel in the horror comedy Muni series. The stars Raghava Lawrence, Taapsee Pannu, Kovai Sarala and Nithya Menon in the lead roles. The movie is distributed by Sun Pictures and Sri Thenandal Films.
