Anurag Kashyap to approach revising committee for Bombay Velvet

Bombay Velvet directed by Anurag Kashyap starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles is set to hit the screens on May 15. The film has completed the censor formalities and has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the Censor Board.

Anurag Kashyap who is not happy with the Censor Board’s decision is planning to appeal to the revising committee. Anurag has been told to chop off a few scenes from his film including few cuss words. The Censor Board also wanted some violent sequences toned down. While he has refused to make any changes in those scenes, he still believes that CBFC's Revising Committee will do justice to his film.

Speaking to a tabloid, Anurag said, “"There is absolutely nothing in the film that warrants an 'A' certificate. We are going to Revising Committee. We just didn't agree with the cuts the Board asked for. I have more faith in the CBFC's Revising Committee. Let's see how it goes.”
